Manila Creek Pond: Utah County Hidden Gem

Check out this little hidden gem in Pleasant Grove, Utah!

If you're looking to beat the heat during these hot summer months, look no further than Manila Creek Pond. This place is only a few years old and includes a sloped sandy beach for the kids and crazy amazing mountain backdrops. How about beach and mountains in the same view? That's what we call epic.

Beach play: The sand is powdery soft making it heavenly for sand castle building.

Shade: There are trees for shade on the grassy area but we suggest bringing a pop-up shaded canopy which you can rent for $10 a day through JJ's Paddleboards. These canopies are the way to go if you want to stay all day.

Water activities: Paddleboarding or kayaking is a perfect way to cool off as the water gets to be about 73 degrees in the summer.

You can rent high quality inflatable Body Glove paddleboards for only $28 per day here and transport them in a duffle bag. If fishing is your thing, bring a pole. Unfortunately, there are no rental services available at the pond.
